Our activity night for our youth is
on Wednesdays. Right now our priest
quorum has 4 graduating seniors, 1 junior, and Jared. We do not have great attendance for
activities, especially for these last few months. Corey had an interview last Wednesday, so
Jared was the only one available to attend the activity for the week, so it was
cancelled.
Jake and Jared decided to have their
own activity. The priests were going to
play guitar, so Jared and Jake went ahead and did it on their own. They have been working on the song, “I Hope
They Call Me on a Mission” with many extra verses that they made up. It is great!
Jared learned how to play it in one night and he sounds great. It was nice to have them here playing music
and hanging out together even though everyone else bailed out on them.
