This week was a little crazy with our heading out of town for about 27 hours for Tyler's wedding in Snowflake. Tyler is the oldest son of my brother Chad, who lives in Tucson. Tyler's bride is also from Tucson. They met when they were about 17 and actually went on a date or two in high school. Then they reconnected again after Kasey returned from her mission to Russia last October. They had a few bumps on the road, but they were engaged sometime in February and so excited to get married.
It was so fun to go and be there for this wedding. My mom and dad, Kevin, Christie, and their adult children, Chad and his family, and of course, Jake and I were all there. We were only missing Ward and Amy and their family. With the wedding being on a Thursday, it was all a little complicating to get everyone there.
I left my three oldest home alone overnight. Luckily they survived. I put Jared in charge of waking them up (the thing I was most worried about), and I did call to make sure that they all got out of bed. They seemed to handle it all really well. Jared even stepped up and made everyone lunches, even though I expected them to each just take care of that themselves. On Thursday afternoon, Jared let me know that he and Eric were having a little bonding moment making breakfast cake together. All in all, I think they survived well. Now back to the wedding.
Tyler served a mission in Korea and returned a year ago February. His mission president was at the wedding and could not say enough good things about Tyler and his work ethic. He actually worked in the office for a lot of his mission, so he definitely got to know the mission president and his wife very well. On his last day in the mission they had a testimony meeting and Tyler expressed that when he came on his mission wanted to make sure that when he left the mission he had no regrets. And when he got up there to bear testimony to the other missionaries, he was able to tell them that he had no regrets. What an outstanding young man! I like that motto, living your life without regrets. There is a great EFY song that is called no regrets. What a great principle to live by.
The wedding was great and we only had 2 emotional moments with Reagan. The first was when her white sandal broke. On the way to the temple, we stopped and got some super glue and fixed that sandal, but not without a lot of doubting on the part of Reagan along the way. The second moment was when we were taking so many pictures and Reagan was so done with pictures. We tried to remind her that someday she would get married and wouldn't she like it if everyone was willing to stay and take a lot of pictures with her. She did not buy into this philosophy, but it was worth a try.
Here are some pictures of the event.

| I loved this candid moment. Tyler is looking down at his ring. I am sure it may take him a while to get used to wearing a ring. |
| Chad and Allie with Evan, who is serving a mission in Korea. They wanted to make sure that he got to be in a few of the pictures. |
| This picture cracked me up. Chad was acting like he was going to kiss Tyler. I have some regular pictures of them, but this one was so much more fun. |
| The rest of the siblings with Evan. It won't be long until Ryan passes McKay in the height department. |
| Special mother, son moment. |
| Cameron and Rachel. Hard to believe that Cameron was feeling pretty terrible during all of this. |
| Cassi and Rachel. Cassi is glad to be home. Now she can see that little neice all the time. |
| Kevin and Quinn looking very serious. Or maybe it is just those glasses. |
| Another serious moment. |
| Had to laugh at the look on Reagan's face |
| We were missing Nate in this photo. Great shot of the Snowflake temple |
| Little Miss Sunshine |

Love the socks. Apparently the groom was wearing these as well.
| My parents and the siblings, minus Ward |
| Adding the spouses |
